Hello All - Would love any constructive feedback on the newsletter I just started thanks. Very much appreciated if any time spent - https://www.aisecondact.com
Hi Brett, I just spent some time going through your posts, so here are my thoughts.
There is a noticeable improvement in the content since May 8th. The formatting and layout are more readable and easier to digest. However, if I browse through your page, the older posts reduce my interest in reading your newer content.
More images? I'm a fan of visuals in newsletters – they break up the chunks of text, and I find them more engaging. Screenshots, charts, infographics…anything that highlights or accentuates key points or ideas. This is just my personal preference, but I always engage more with a newsletter (especially one that only curates information) if it includes images.
Who is this for? Your copy says “Build, lead and grow,” but the posts read like basic introductions to AI for people who are very new to it. Maybe that could be a point in your copy and a driver for new subscribers?
Your niche is “mid-career professionals”, but that's kind of buried in your copy. I get no tangible, emotional pain point from “Thursday’s 5-minute playbook helps mid-career pros build, lead & grow.”
Perhaps add tutorials with screenshots for people using AI for the first time? Add recommended prompts, or recommended bots to use? These are more concrete examples of the “Edge in AI” that you promise in your copy.
Anyway, I hope you find this helpful. It seems a bit difficult to get constructive feedback here, so as a fan of AI newsletters I thought I'd take the time to give you my thoughts. And I signed up. All the best.
