Critique Request for Chattynooga: A Unique Local Newsletter
Howdy, Night Owls! Wanna critique a weird local newsletter? Finally bit the bullet and purchased my subscription after a month of doing nothing and then a month of doing something and people apparently liking it, so thought I’d pop in and ask for feedback (and also to ask if anyone else is doing something like this?) Anyway, meet Chattynooga - A local newsletter that feels like pulling up a seat on the front porch for your inner child:
Part newsletter of great, local events in the Chattanooga, TN area.
Part spotlight of local businesses, startup founders and community leaders making moves in the area.
Part exploration of learning new things from the optimistic and curious point-of-view of a quirky 10 year old Appalachian boy who doubles as an internet goblin, and his best friend Clementine.
This is my first crack at writing in a professional capacity (or any capacity at all let’s be real), but I thought I’d throw my weird spin on local newsletters by throwing a cute, cozy vibe with a helpin’ of southern twang. Let me know your thoughts! We’re only on issue four (coming up Monday) and have already hit almost 200 subscribers, and three paid partnerships down the funnel (which I’m still working on monetizing.) 🙂 A full website is coming soon, made with Framer (nuts platform.) Will circle back on that later for feedback though. Thanks y’all! Click here for the actual newsletter homepage
