Just hit this awesome milestone today, which took 2 months after launch 🙌 Next step is put the focus on monetisation and look for partners who would like to sponsor the newsletter. This is a local newsletter that is sent 2 times per week. I've outreached around 100 businesses so far but not really getting meaningful responses yet. Would love to hear some tips and lessons on how did you guys monetized your newsletters and how did the start of it looked like
Congrats- that’s an awesome achievement in just 2 months! 🎉 I’m in the early stages of building a curated ad network specifically for newsletters, with the goal of streamlining sponsorship opportunities and helping publishers connect with quality advertisers. We just started rolling out our first test campaigns this month so it’s still early but if you’re open to it, you’re welcome to join us! You can register at: sendercircle.com or shoot me a DM if you’d like to chat about how it works. In the meantime, happy to compare notes or share any lessons I’ve picked up along the way. Monetizing early is tough (especially with local audiences), but there are definitely ways to get creative and build momentum. Let me know if you’d like to connect!
Hey, thanks for the comment 🙌 Just FYI - your website returns this for some reasons
That’s so strange- I have a valid SSL certificate on it. Not sure why it’s doing that but thank you for letting me know! I see you’re on Chrome. I’m going to try to reproduce the issue so I can diagnose and resolve it.
Mark H. That’s a relief to hear- thank you for letting me know Vilius S. - I think it may be an http vs. https issue. Can you try going to https://sendercircle.com/ and let me know if you’re still running into the same problem? If the https version works then I’ll look into my SSL certification to see if it needs to be updated.
hmm, does not work for me on chrome and on safari, still getting the privacy notes
How does it work?
Eric The way it works is: once someone joins (via sendercircle.com), we verify their newsletter’s engagement metrics and send sponsor opportunities. Right now, we’re running a few test campaigns to establish performance benchmarks. Publishers can opt into whichever ones feel like a good fit. When someone opts into a campaign they get the creative and a tracking link so they can run the ad in their newsletter and earn based on the traffic they generate. It’s still early days but we’re building momentum fast. Let me know if you’d like to hop on a call or feel free to shoot me a DM if you have any questions!
NICE! Love seeing the milestones as we are getting ready to press go
