I feel like that's a pretty good rate, Seamus. For example, when I worked at OPB, even though we had over 100,000 paying members, that was actually well under 10% of the total people we reached every month across all of our platforms.
My percent is like 3% but i am questioning how useful i find that.
But i talk to small newsrooms who have up to 25% paid. Itโs interesting to think about this in terms of the type of lists that lend themselves to being small and more paid vs big and more free (potentially with other revenue streams)
My audience is like 30% paying but 3% recurring.
Maybe i should do an issue on what this percent might mean and how to actually find it useful in your business
