Issues with Adding Tagged Email Addresses to Automation Trigger

I have a subscription list that I imported and have tagged all email addresses. What's the best way to add them to a trigger for an automation? I'm trying Segment trigger action but that's not working for some reason. The Segment shows the names and the trigger is looking at that segment and it's all turned active.

So if you have the automation created, you need the manual trigger.

And then activate the automation

Then go to segment that was created and enrol your existing subscriber from that segment to the automation

thanks Keyur P. When I do that, I don't see Segments as a trigger but I do see Tags. Is that right? I assume I have to update the subscribers tag AFTER the automation is running. The triggers won't trigger on an existing status - is that right?

Can I batch tag or enroll names? one-by-one is killer.

I have 4 emails in my "testing" tag but they aren't going into the automation

do i need to move them to a new tag and use that one as the automation trigger to get them enrolled in the workflow?

Okay so here's the problem.
1.
Manual trigger typically don't need the condition but it's not the issue here.
2.
The trigger is not active that means the automation is not active.
3.
Once you make that active, you go back to segment and enrol subs into an automation
