Applying a Discount Code and Card Issues on Beehiiv Payment Plan

how do I apply a discount code to my beehiiv payment plan 🥺 also it keeps saying all my cards are declining (trying to change it to business card), is it because I’m traveling in asia rn?

This may a fraud prevention measure because it looks like a card is being added from a location. That’s not been previously associated with your account. Discount codes are only valid on first time purchases not existing plans.

I deleted you message because it showed the code which anyone could use - I understand, I forgot that we were giving out those one-time use offers, they are very atypical. If you continue to have issues please message support and they can help

oh no worries, so the one time codes arent valid anymore? I’ll fwd email (asking abt payment / card changes) to the support team instead of replying to the email

No, they should be valid - its just not a common thing - I didn't realize which code you were trying to use
