Troubleshooting Publication One-Liner Update Issues

How come my publication one liner isn't updating? I edit it in the settings and it doesn't update on the actual website landing page? I don't see anywhere that I'm supposed to hit "publish" so I figure it should auto update, no?

Maybe you have it setup in your website builder

Yeah, they’re technically separate. If you’ve ever edited it in the Website Builder, it’s not “linked” to the one in Settings anymore. Go into Design → Website Builder, switch to Home Page (or Signup Page, whichever you want to edit) at the top, then in the Layout tab you can edit the copy

I tried editing it there too. and it shows my new update on the backend, but it isn't publishing through to the front end.
