Creating a Text-Only Gmail Email Template

I’m looking to create an email template that looks more or less like a gmail text-only email — without the standard footer items (eg social link). How do I do that?

I mean can't do purely text based due to how emails in the backend is working

ah shoot what’s the closest we can get? I would like to hide the social icons for example

we can still adjust a few minor thing in the footer, but that's about it

I think I lied. (not intentionally), but looks like there is no css class available to hide the social icon only.

however, if you remove them from your website settings, then it will not come in the footer.
