Custom Field Mapping Issues in CSV: Need Advice from the Hiiv

sounds like JD and I are running into the exact same issue. I remember there used to be a popup that would allow you to map custom fields to your extra columns in your CSV, but it no longer seems to show up. any advice from the hiiv here?

Hey Eric — So I believe the option to map custom fields to your extra columns appears after you click the 'import' button. The problem here is the Beehiiv UI copy is slightly misleading. The button titled 'Import' makes it feel like it's the final step. I shared this because I was reticent to make that final step, afraid it'd mess me up. But if I'm remembering correctly, it isn't. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you're good to hit that button to complete the flow. Odd how something can get fuzzy after only a month.

what JD said ^ is correct. The mapping comes after you hit the import button.

That used to be the case. But now when I hit import, it just goes straight into the import without giving me the option to select mapping Keyur P. are you able to give it a try and see if it gives you the option? It hasn’t for me all morning.

got it to work! here's what I had to do:

    1. 1.

copy + paste the data into a brand new CSV file.

    2. 2.

switch over from using a PC to upload, to using a mac.

    talk about weird settings beehiiv!
