How to Disable Instant Subscription Prompts on Your Web Page

I'm also not sure how I turned this on, but I want people to be able to scroll on the web page without being prompted to subscribe immediately. Anyone know where to go to turn that off

On the post settings, turn off "gated content"

yes, what Joël C. said, and then in the middle of the post where you like them to signup, add the subscriber gate from your post editor.
