Building a New Subscriber List for Your Second Newsletter in Beehiiv

Dumb Question #743 I'm about to get started on a second newsletter, with a different subscriber base than the first. (Local newsletters, these will be different geographical areas). I understand that I can create another publication in my account. How do I go about building a second subscriber list? Can I even do that in beehiiv? My guess is that the subscription form for the second publication automagically generates a new subscriber base, but can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track here?
