    I develop one at https://www.megahit.app.

In my experience, enrichment is very useful in B2B, not very useful in B2C.

Thanks! . I want to use it for two reasons:

    1. 1.

      want to find potential sponsors/partners

    2. 2.

Want more data to show sponsors/partners who the audience is

Will it be useful for that?

Absolutely! That’s what most people use it for.

Megahit integrates with Beehiiv. All new subscribers are automatically enriched.

You get a super helpful dashboard with lots of filters to identify good leads.

You get a ton of helpful statistics that you can share with advertisers.

(All data in the screenshots is dummy data. I would never share real email lists with people.)

This is awesome. Niklas W. I would love to learn more. Renier K. I wanted to share that I have a subscription to Folk, which enriches contacts using a variety of data providers, and it didn't really work because my subscribers obviously sign up using their personal (vs business address).

Most newsletters have mostly personal emails. If it’s a B2B newsletter, it’s usually still possible to enrich a good percentage of those personal emails. For job search newsletters (such as yours, Kevin B.) or more general audiences, it usually doesn’t work as well.

Thanks Niklas W.. Does it matter that my job search newsletter are all for a specifc kind of business role? I know for the most part my subscribers are in corporate roles

Kevin B. It could work. You only really know what match rate you get on a specific newsletter when you run it. Sometimes I’m surprised. I can say for sure that if your content was all like this or this, it would definitely be an amazing fit. Newsletters with well-written B2B content work very well.

Matt B. is your newsletter B2C, where personal emails will work just fine? Wondering if this will work for me, where my ICP are b2b consultants & agencies.

Jay M. What’s your concern about personal emails?

I got the impression from the convo above that this is more for enriching personal emails; i.e. the emails that many people use to sign up for newsletters.

It works for both, but it works even better for professional emails. It’s just easier to find someone’s information when their email is name@company.com than puppylover72@gmail.com.

So yes, if you’ve got a lot of professional emails, it will work really well.

K and the primary use case seems to be for finding sponsors. I'm more interested in having a connection between beehiiv and LinkedIn, and ultimately scoring my subs based on their role, company type, size, etc.

That’s a great use case. It’s something most newsletters should do in my opinion. (I’ve talked to really large media companies that first define their ICP and then judge open rate, click rate, etc. only based on those people who fit their ICP, ignoring everyone else.) Megahit can help with that.

I’ve got Megahit saved so if I receive large enough revenue to justify (and could execute on such info immediately) I’ll definitely jump on it - not for finding sponsors per se, but to increase the impact with finding the ppl on socials etc. My 13.5k readers currently have a strong mix towards B2B so should work decently.
