Balancing Content Frequency and Relevance When Publishing Posts
Question for folks - I have been on a writing spree and have so much good content in the works. Now I'm a bit worried I might be inundating users. What do you think I should do in the following situations:
- 1.
I wrote up a short post that addresses a very recent event that I think is useful to be on top of but I've already released two separate posts this week. Should I pace my launch of this post, even if delaying means the content becomes less salient?
- 2.
I also have another post that's salient given recent market turmoil and broader audience than (1) but also longform vs. (1) which is more specific but also shortform. Is there an order preference?
I ask because I find that while I like newsletters like Every that post every day, I also find these overwhelming as they pile up in my inbox during the week, especially since they are not short, digestible posts. I've now released two posts this week, right after each other (by accident) and am hesitant to overshare. But the content is highly relevant for the zeitgeist
