Growing Local Newsletters Beyond Meta Ads in the UK

Apart from Meta ads, how are you growing your local newsletters? Preferably in the UK. I get nice growth spurts when I strategically post in FB groups, but it isn’t consistent. I want this thing lit up but I don’t like Meta’s inconsistencies
