Hey everyone, Does anyone have advice on how to grow your subscriber list through TikTok/Instagram? Short form Video is our medium of choice and since we started posting seriously this year, we’ve gone viral 3-4 times on both channels. I’m not sure how to capitalize on the influx of new followers here. Any advice would be appreciated!
I'm using short form video on TikTok and Instagram as a channel for growth. Have not fully figured it out so curious to hear what others have to say
any updates here? I have the same problem
Wasim — from what I can tell there's no set playbook or silver bullet. I ended up talking with a guy I know who is a cooking creator with 300k+ followers on IG alone and who started a newsletter. He said he converts followers to email subs by;
Including a link in his description/bio,
Cutting the video somewhat short and including a cta within the video to subscribe to his newsletter for the full recipe
None of these are particularly wild tactics or could be fairly described as silver bullets. His advantage is he just creates amazing content and has worked hard to build an audience. The volume he gets in terms of views & reach from followers is the real key. Also — I've also come across manychat, something I see a lot of creators use, though some say it has brought them problems. Do your own research there.
Thanks for the quick answer! Thats also what I thought. Did you make it work for you?
It's been my main channel for growth so far. I had one viral hit and a steady performance since then. After some reflection, however, I've realized it'll never be a meaningful channel if I can't up the quality & frequency of my videos in order to grow serious audience. Right now I'm re-thinking how I'm producing my social video. Working on adding more production value, and moving around my newsletter production times to afford more focus on the videos so I can both produce more frequently and higher quality. So, time will tell — but I feel good about my updated strategy. I just need to execute. Happy to share insights as I grow.
Just need to adopt it for my niche.
