Using SMS with Your Newsletter: Tips and Tool Recommendations

Hey folks, are any of you using SMS in conjunction with your newsletter? I'm interested in hearing what's working, how you're using it, and any recommendations on tools to use.

I did a little research on this for a service I am contemplating using to push out alerts about new remote jobs (I have a jobs newsletter). Requires more setup, but Amazon's email and SMS service is really cheap (potentially even free), so I was going to go with that (my backend jobs DB already has some infrastructure to make that doable). Otherwise Twilio, SendGrid and Mailchimp seem like go to options. Hope this helps!
