Strategies to Address Newsletter Subscriber Decline

Hi! My newsletter has seen a steady decline in subscribers over the past week, despite our welcome flow + boosts remaining stable. There's new subs in every day, but also a drop in subs every day resulting in a net loss? Does anyone have any advice on this or how to best triage??

Do you have an automation that removes unengaged subscribers?

I do, but generally they come out in large chunks, as opposed to steady losses every day

Hmmm. If you haven’t already, maybe take a look at the engagement rates of recent unsubscribed users to see if there are any patterns. (Did they stop engaging after a certain edition, etc). They other thing is to set up a goodbye/ sorry to see you go unsubscribe survey if you don’t have one already. Not perfect, but at least with mine it yields some clues.
