Transitioning from Substack to Beehiiv: User Experiences and Tips

Has anyone moved from Substack to Beehiiv before? Wondering how easy the transition is. I have around 500 paid subscribers and 12,000 free subscribers. I’ve successfully imported the 12k free but am yet to move across the paid subscribers

It's tricky because it involves the payment process, and if not handled correctly, your 500 paid members could be at risk of being charged multiple times. A few publications overlooked certain aspects, which caused issues for them. I'm not trying to scare you; I just want to prepare you for the fact that it must be done in proper steps.
