Using Beehiiv for Blog-Style Newsletters: Seeking Examples and Tips

Hi everyone! Is anyone running their beehiiv newsletter like a blog? Like in place of a CMS What is really like to do for my newsletter is have an essays section that runs like a blog for 2000+ word content and have newsletter posts be separate. Right now I’ve solved this with an essays tag and publishing my essays as Web Only - but I’m wondering if there’s a better way to do this. Would love to see examples visually too if you’ve done this! Thanks 🙏

I pretty much do that... My posts are too long for an email... But what I do is publish the first couple paragraphs in an "email only" visibility section and then add a button to "read more" in the email that brings them to the live URL and shows the complete posts which is in the same beehiiv post with visibility as web only. You have to duplicate the first few paragraphs into 2 sections but this works really well for me. Sorry for that abominably long sentence.

That way you have a single beehiiv post that acts both as the email and the blog post and the visibility settings allow you to optimize for both.

okay thank you! will take a look at your newsletter my problem i think is that I want two separate things. i want essays to live blog style and I want a newsletter that includes other things and i occasionally link to my essays if that makes sense
