Strategies to Address Beehiiv Smart Warming Issues

Getting hammered pretty hard by Beehiiv smart warming - dumped completely onto our own domain after a trickle smart warming period over a few months. Any thoughts on how to get this adjusted from the beehiiv team? I've searched in this slack and seen a few similar comments so hopefully it solves itself

just to make sure I'm on the right page:
you were on smart warming
smart warming finished after a few months and you transitioned to your custom domain
but now you're seeing some deliverability issues?
Any specific metrics that you see suffering?

Hey Conor thanks for the help! Yes, we were on smart warming for longer than I anticipated. About 2 weeks ago, we rolled off it to our own domain. However, smart warming with Beehiiv was moving pretty slow compared to our growth rate. Our sending volume grew from around 10K to 40K within 8-10 weeks. At the height of it, Beehiiv dropped us off of its domain to our own. Now we are seeing open rates under 10% even as we've decreased volumes to our highest open rate segments.

cool cool. thanks for sharing that. Smart warming can only proceed on sends, but it does sound like something might not have gone as well as it could have. to best diagnose, could you please reach out to the Support team? they'll be able to dig in and see if it makes sense to do some more warming, or maybe just some list cleaning. tl;dr - there is def stuff we can do here to improve your open rate and make sure things are going well

thanks for the reply - yea been asking for help via email but the replies have been pretty slow so thought I would try here. we'll try some more list cleanings for the next send and see if that works.
