Understanding Sudden Decline in Email Delivery Rate

Hi very new to all this but trying to understand what's happened to my delivery rate. I've a very small sub base (70ish) as I only started a few weeks ago but I've had a sudden decline. 3rd post - Delivered 67. Delivery Rate 100.00% 4th post - Delivered 57. Delivery Rate 76.00% 5th post - Delivered 56. Delivery Rate 74.67% I'm using a custom domain and afaik have records setup correctly. I did notice on a hotmail account I have that these posts are not even getting through to spam so something is up. Any advice is appreciated - thanks.

These were sent weekly btw.

Looking into this a bit more it seems my dmarc was only setup for the main domain and not the subdomain im sending from - I've rectified this now. It also seems its Microsoft being Microsoft. The undelivered emails are all Hotmail addresses which are saying deferred delivery - is this just a trust issue as the domain is still new?

Deffer meaning either they are not active inbox anymore or have firewall in place

Not sure about that - One of them is my own hotmail account which is active.

aha, then my typical answer would be to create a support ticket. if you haven't. The reason is the beehiiv Engineering support team has more insights on that.

Just to update - An email pool switch via ticket seems to have resolved the issue!
