Troubleshooting Email Delivery Issues with Microsoft Accounts

Since day 1, none of my emails are reaching subscribers on M$ email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live) - we're talking several hundred people. Because this is a custom domain set-up, I'm assuming that it's an issue I need to take up with my hosting company. What questions do I ask?
